TravelNote is a native 32-bit Windows application.
Offices who wish to use TravelNote on the Mac platform can do this by using VMware Fusion or Parallels on Mac.
Database
The database we use is Microsoft SQL Server 2005.
By default we provide the free Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express database.
If you have a Microsoft SQL Server database in the office, possibly as part of a Small Business license, then this also be used perfectly. Travel Note is compatible with Microsoft SQL Server 2000 and Microsoft SQL Server 2008.
Minimum requirements for the use of TravelNote:
- Windows XP SP2 or later
- 60 MB free disk space
- 512 MB RAM, 1 GB recommended
TravelNote includes a Live Update feature to automatically update your version via the Internet, herefore you need to have a broadband connection (ADSL or cable).
Also if you choose to have your database hosted on our dedicated servers, you must have a broadband connection.
